During last week’s freeze, two major water lines burst inside of the main building at Specht Elementary, causing significant damage to the front office area, library and many of the classrooms.
Our maintenance department took steps to mitigate further damage and assessed the situation to coordinate cleanup and determine the repair that is needed. While we do not have a firm timeline on when the campus will again be fully operational, we do know that we will not be able to resume on-campus instruction for students for several weeks.
While repairs are being made, a plan has been created to facilitate interim instruction for your students beginning this week.
