Counselor

Hello!  My name is Sara Breda, and I am the school counselor at Specht Elementary.  This is my sixth year as an elementary school counselor.  Prior to that, I was a third and fourth grade teacher for 4 years.  I love working with families and students and providing support however I can.

 

My overall role is to help support our student and campus community.  I do this through a variety of services which include classroom lessons, small group lessons, individual sessions, and student planning.  

 

The Comal ISD guidance program focuses on social and emotional learning, conflict resolution, college and career readiness, and leadership development.  

 

Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions or concerns.  Students are able to self-refer if they need to talk to me, but I am happy to receive referrals from parents as well.
